Construction of a temporary bridge for the Site C dam. The 329-metre-long bridge connects the north and south banks of the Site C construction site and will be used to transport people, machinery and materials across the Peace River. Rapid-Span was contracted to fabricate the steel structure of the bridge consisting of 72 main girders plus the supply of precast deck panels, ballast walls, and abutment caps. |
