Construction of a bridge through the design build process on the Trans Canada Hwy #1. The bridge stands approximately 90 meters above the ground and the steel superstructure was incrementally launched. Rapid-Span was contracted to supply the curved steel girders of the bridge (approx. 2800 tons) and precast deck panels. Bridge was fabricated as part of a joint venture with Canam-Bridge. |
