Winnipeg Street Overpass

Replacing the aging Winnipeg Street Overpass at Regina’s Ring Road required a longer, realigned structure to relieve a congested interchange and improve traffic flow, pedestrian connectivity and safety. Rapid-Span fabricated the structural steel superstructure for the new 65.55-meter CL-750 composite bridge, including 22 plate girders, diaphragm beams and field splice components. Our in-house detailing and controlled shop fabrication delivered the girders ready for efficient erection. The new overpass, designed for a 75-year service life, gives Regina a safer and more efficient link between its major arterial roads.
